About

Sarayu Prakash is the associate dean of administration and finance at Mills College at Northeastern University. She leads strategic financial planning, operations, and compliance and partners with the dean on institutional development. A collaborative problem solver and systems thinker, Prakash works across academic, administrative, and community-facing teams to build a financially resilient, mission-aligned future for the college.

She is responsible for aligning budgets with strategic priorities, stewarding institutional resources, managing risk, and enabling program innovation. She is responsible for translating ambitious visions into executable, sustainable plans and is deeply committed to building transparent, equity-centered processes that empower individuals at every level of the institution.

With nearly two decades of experience in financial and operational strategy, Prakash has guided organizations through complex transitions including mergers, start-ups, and strategic pivots across the US, Canada, and India.
