Bio

Kathryn Reiss is the award-winning author of twenty novels of suspense for juveniles and teens, published by Harcourt, Scholastic, and American Girl. Several of her novels have been optioned for film. She has been the featured speaker at conferences including American Library Association, The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and Mystery Writers of America, and is included in the textbook of YA Literature of Today. Her interests include genre fiction, plot, series writing, historical and suspense fiction. She is proud of the increasing number of her students who go on to become published authors of young adult fiction.
