Bio

Catherine Wagner works both photographically as well as with site-specific art. She is represented by Jessica Silverman in San Francisco, and Gallery Luisotti in Los Angeles. She has received major awards, the Rome Prize, a Guggenheim Fellowship, National Endowment for the Art Fellowships, and the Artadia Award. Wagner has had solo exhibitions at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, LACMA, the de Young Museum, Museo Morandi, and the Kemper Art Museum in St. Louis. In addition, her work is represented in major collections nationally and around the world, including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Museum Folkwang Essen.
