Renée Jadushlever

Vice President of Campus Administration and Strategic Initiatives

About

Prior to the merger with Northeastern University, Renée Jadushlever served as vice president for strategic communications and operations at Mills College, one of many critical leadership positions she has held at Mills since 1991. In this most recent role, she supervised government relations, external relations, strategic partnerships, marketing, communications, media relations, operations, facilities, and construction/capital projects, housing and dining services, and auxiliaries.

As vice president of strategic communications and operations, Jadushlever identified and evaluated opportunities to elevate the Mills’ visibility in Oakland and Bay Area communities, growing the college’s presence in community, civic, and leadership groups, among neighborhoods, and elsewhere. She worked on strategies relative to campus optimization and development and public-private partnerships.

She has edited two scholarly journals, as editor-in-chief for Printing History, the journal of the American Printing History Association, and as the managing editor of Phaedrus: An International Journal of Children’s Literature Research. Additionally, she has curated numerous national and international exhibitions, including the Centennial Celebration Exhibition of the Grolier Club in New York.

Jadushlever received her MLS in library science from Columbia University, with a concentration in rare books administration.
