Bio

Carolyn Sherwood Call is an economist whose professional work has explored urban and regional economies, applied microeconomics, climate change policy, and the interactions among businesses, society, and policy-making. Before coming to Mills in 2010, she taught economics at St. Mary’s College of California and served as a regional economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. She earned a PhD in economics at the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in American studies at Pomona College.
